What is ISP？

ISP(Ishikawa Science Park) is built in the hill area of rich green Tatsunokuchi town in 1990, aiming at promoting cooperation among the government, industry, and academy in advanced technology field, and making an international research and development base.

ISP, with the back up of the first national graduate school, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, is trying to call research and development institutions and industrial support institutions together to form a science park.

Nowadays, we are living in a bustling changing world. We have the necessity to correspond with rapid globalization of society, complication of industrial structure and quick technical innovation. In such environment, ISP is playing an important part in doing research and developments in advanced technology field.

ISICO(Ishikawa Sunrise Industries Creation Organization) opened Science Park Office as an entrance to the park in April 2002 to facilitate the cooperation among the government, industry, and academy in the park.．

What is ISICO?

ISICO(Ishikawa Sunrise Industries Creation Organization) was established in April 1999 to create new industries in Ishikawa prefecture by facilitating the collaboration among the government, industry, and academy. ISICO acts as a one-stop-window for the industry to facilitate the collaboration between the industry and academy.

ISICO is the core organization in creating new industries in the region, authorized by Industries Creation Law and also acts as a center, authorized by Local Enterprise Assistance Law, for the regional industries to assist regional enterprises. ISICO actively promotes various projects for creating new industries, planned by Ishikawa Industries Science and Technology Group, in collaboration with other similar institutions, academy, and public sections.
